How does the surrounding world look like to a small child? Is it round or angular, yellow or green, hollow, but soft? World cognition of a child in his first years begins from a variety of shapes and colours. Choreographer and dancers put these coloured shapes together as a puzzle and recognizable vegetables, such as carrot, tomato, cucumber, or sometimes unrecognizable mushrooms, fruits and flowers appear. In the performance dancers use movements from a child’s developmental stages: crawling, creeping,
bouncing, walking, running, clapping, galloping, hiding and turning. As children recognize these movements they experience the joy of discovery and experience.
